Annam Supermarket
Annam Supermarket is an Asian Supermarket located in Melbourne's Western Suburbs. When opening a new business they were looking for a Point Of Sale & business management system that would give them both a functional and flexibility solution. POSWise was called in by the owners after they had already purchased there touch screen terminals from a local computer company. 

POSWise initially worked with the local computer company as a consultant and it was quickly realized that it would be better for Annam Supermarket if POSWise took over completely and dealt directly with the Supermarket. This was done with the agreement of the local computer company. 

To start with we had two HP AP5000 touch screen terminals at the front counter linked to a back office desktop computer running a copy of Poswise. They opened in such a hurry that they where still entering products in the back office as customers where coming through the front door. The system catered for this without an issue. Then the supermarket decided that it wanted to also sell fruit and veg. Two CAS scales where added to the Touch screens at the front counter to allow the fast selling of fruit and veg. All they needed to do was keep the price per kilo for these items updated as orders arrived. 

Then they wanted to implement a wide range of Mix and Match discount structures. This meant that items could be sold at different prices depending on the number being purchased. For example buy 3 packs of rice for the price of 2. To keep accurate track of the stock they utilised the link from the POSWise software to a hand held PDE. This allowed them to carry out price checks, receipt in orders and do rolling stock checks. 

The shelf edge label format was also redesigned to the supermarkets specific requirements and we installed an integrated EFTPOS link so the customer experience was as quick as any larger supermarket chain. 

POSWise continues to work with Annam Supermarket as they develop there business model.
